Will Mobile Search Deal With T-Mobile Help Yahoo?

T-Mobile smart phone users would soon get Yahoo! search by default on their data plans. This is in addition to Yahoo’s similar deal with AT&T.
T-mobile, a unit of Germany’s Deutsche Telekom AG, will benefit by receiving search revenue share in ten European countries. Yahoo! hopes to reach over 100 million mobile search subscribers. Yahoo! would most definitely need all it can get given its lowest stock price ($9.14 as of November 19, 2008) in six years.
Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer dismissed Yahoo’s buyout plan multiple times. This mobile search deal might be a life support deal for Yahoo. Or Not.
