Apple Releases iPhone 2.2 Update

Apple released software updates for iPhone and iPod Touch. In this release, Apple included a home screen shortcut to get back to the first home screen. Upgrade will also help to decrease call setup failures and dropped calls.
Another new feature in version 2.2 is that you can download podcasts over wi-fi or cellular network instead of downloading thru iTunes.
iPhone 2.2 is released for iPod Touch also. If you don’t have iPhone version 2.0 or later in iPod Touch, you are out of luck; you need to pay $9.95 to get the software. There is no such restriction for iPhone users.
